MCT's Nancy Milligan Earns a Spot on the SDBJ 2021 Women in Technology Award List

SAN DIEGO, Calif., Apr. 26, 2021 — Mortgage Capital Trading, Inc. (MCT®), an industry-leading mortgage hedge advisory firm announced that the San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) named MCT’s Senior Integrations Developer, Nancy Milligan, as one of San Diego’s Women of Influence in Technology 2021. This program recognizes San Diego’s most influential women in tech. The SDBJ is proud to highlight women building and designing projects in America’s Finest City.

Nancy Milligan has had a decades-long career in software development, system administration, system architecture, and computer security. This background positioned her well to develop robust integrations for MCT with many custom proprietary and industry-leading mortgage Loan Origination Software systems. These integrations funnel timely data to the mortgage industry’s leading hedging, best execution, and MSR Analytics platforms. Both MCTlive!® and MSRlive!® are touching at least one out of every five residential mortgages that originated in the United States.

“I am honored to be named to this revered list and held in the same company with other San Diego-based business-women who are making a difference in their communities through technology in the industry and sector,” stated Milligan. “MCT has afforded me many unique opportunities to grow my skill sets and advance my career, and I am proud to be a part of the outstanding team supporting me to help expand the company.”

Prior to her career with MCT, Nancy spent over eight years at CAE Solutions as a Senior Consultant. In this position, she was a senior developer of data integration and worked to program web applications as well as Linux system administration. Now in her tenth year at MCT, Nancy is one of the secrets of the success behind the nation’s largest capital markets software and service firm. Nancy oversees the daily support of 268 data integrations and works with GSEs, correspondent lenders, public and private depositories, credit unions and independent mortgage banks. Nancy fosters collaboration, enthusiasm, and dedication to every task.

“Nancy Milligan became the senior-most developer at the most tech-forward Capital Markets Software and Service Firm in the country,” said Chris Anderson, Chief Administrative Officer, MCT. “She is a pioneer in innovative mortgage technology development and has made incredible contributions to the industry, including developing MCT’s first loan sale commitment writebacks.”

The winners were honored by SDBJ in a special section created to highlight all influential women in technology. View the complete list here.
