Capital Markets Technology Advisor

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Capital Markets Technology Advisor is an important support role within MCT’s Client Success Group (CSG). Reporting to the Senior CMTA, the Capital Markets Technology Advisor partners with other members of the CSG Team, Traders and Regional Sales Directors to assist with client onboarding, platform usage, and ongoing support. This role contributes to the overall client experience by offering timely analysis, platform knowledge, and operational support throughout the client lifecycle.

The Capital Markets Technology Advisor plays a key role in preparing client data, supporting onboarding workflows, and helping ensure clients are set up for success on the MCTlive! platform.

Essential Functions

The Capital Markets Technology Advisor develops strong working knowledge of the MCTlive! platform and supports internal teams in communicating its functionality and benefits. Working across MCT’s sales regions, this role assists in ensuring clients receive consistent guidance and support from initial onboarding through full utilization and throughout their long-term lifecycle with MCT.

Specifically, the Capital Markets Technology Advisor will:

  • Support the onboarding process for new clients onto the MCTlive! platform, including data normalization, mapping, and initial configuration.
  • Participate in client onboarding meetings and calls, documenting requirements and following up on assigned items.
  • Provide support to Senior Capital Markets Technology Advisors and Traders in delivering technical and capital markets guidance to clients.
  • Assist with client relationship management, including tracking client questions, monitoring progress, and escalating issues to senior team members.
  • Help gather and organize user feedback related to potential platform enhancements or new functionality.
  • Execute daily platform maintenance tasks
  • Support QC efforts of in-development features, performing tests and reporting findings.
  • Contribute to overall CSG support functions, ticket resolution, and internal documentation updates.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Organized with great attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with willingness to learn and develop deeper capital markets and platform expertise.
  • Self-starter with solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Required Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Mortgage Secondary Marketing or related capital markets role.
  • Exposure to hedging, trading, or lock desk operations preferred.
  • Experience with the MCTlive! platform preferred.
Salary Range: $75k – $90k
Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt
This role is also eligible for performance-based bonus and standard company benefits.
 
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check in compliance with California’s Fair Chance Act.
