Senior Manager, Client Success Group
Chris Barnes began his career with MCT in 2006 as a Junior Trader. Since then, he has proven to be an integral part of company operations and sales. Spending most of his tenure with the firm as a Senior Trader, he was instrumental during the pre-MCTlive! era in hedging and loan sale normalization modeling. As MCT transitioned to its current web-based platform for hedging and loan sales, Mr. Barnes became a founding member of the Client Success Group (CSG) division – ensuring clients have the needed education and support during the sales and onboarding processes through long-term success. His impact with clients earned Mr. Barnes promotions in 2017 (Manger, CSG) and again in 2022 (Senior Manager, CSG). In his current position, he leads MCT’s stable of Capital Markets Technology Advisors (CMTAs) and also supports the West Region as CMTA.
Mr. Barnes graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 2006 with a B.A. in Economics.
